Ainamar Clariana took part in the 2026 NECS (Network of European Cinema Studies) conference, entitled Invisible, held from 18 to 20 June at Paul Valéry University in Montpellier, France. The TRAMA researcher presented the paper "Making Absence Legible: Feminist Digital Methods and the Politics of Visibility in Early Film Culture", in which she reflected on the use of Social Network Analysis and Actor-Network Theory as methodological approaches for addressing the absences of women and other minoritised groups in archives and historical accounts of the cultural field, particularly within early twentieth-century cinema.

The paper was presented as part of the pre-constituted panel "Building Feminist Film Infrastructures: Networks, Archives, and Situated Knowledge", which also featured researchers from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and the Universidad de Chile. Taken together, the panel explored a range of feminist strategies that, from epistemological, theoretical and methodological perspectives, contribute to recovering women's agency in film history.
